Equitable Foundation has established an emergency funding program to assist current or past Equitable Excellence℠ and AXA Achievement℠ Scholarship recipients who are enrolled full-time in and have unexpected financial difficulties which may impact their enrollment in school.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Equitable Excellence℠ Emergency Grant Program must:
* Tuition expenses are for hardships related to paying unmet tuition needs. Funds will not be allocated for courses or tuition expenses outside of regular credit loads (i.e., summer school).
Distribution of emergency funds will be determined by providing the financial information from the Student Aid Report (found on the FAFSA application), Expected Family Contribution, and school costs.
Eligible students may submit one funding request during a 12-month period for a maximum amount of $1,000.
All funding is contingent upon the availability of funds.
Applicants will be notified via email by Scholarship America of their emergency funding application status.
Equitable Foundation reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.
Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically through the Scholarship America Student Hub.
