PNC Institutional Investments, Trustee has established the Louis Ernst Family Scholarship to assist high school seniors from Madison Consolidated High School and Shawe Memorial High School in Madison, Indiana who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered each year for study at an accredited institution, with preference given to applicants planning to attend schools in Indiana. However, the Louis Ernst Family Scholarship Committee may approve others.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

Selection of finalists is made by Scholarship America. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Louis Ernst Family Scholarship committee will select recipients and determine award amounts. Preference will be given to applicants planning to attend schools in Indiana; however, the committee may approve others.
Awards are not renewable.
The award can be used for tuition, fees, room, and board.
All applicants will be notified in May.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of PNC Institutional Investments, Trustee. Payment is made in August. Award checks will be processed in one installment sent directly to the college bursar’s office.
