The Fink Scholarship Fund has been established to assist Minnesota residents who are current high school seniors or undergraduates who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Fink Scholarship Fund must:
*Minnesota residents who attend/plan to attend college outside of the state of Minnesota are eligible.
Up to 10 awards will be granted and distributed as follows:
Note: As long as the total distribution amount of new awards does not exceed $200,000 in a given year, a recipient originally attending a two-year college who transfers to a four-year college or university may have their award amount and total number of additional years they can renew adjusted to match those of the recipients already attending a four-year college or university. Regardless of award amount, no recipient may receive an award for more than four (4) years total.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in January.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the Sponsor. Payment is made in early August.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Financial need will be considered. Recipients must demonstrate need.
If qualified applications are received, preference will be given to first-generation college students and/or those who self-identify as Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Hispanic or Latino, Asian, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of the Sponsor play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
As part of your application, you must upload the following:
NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
