Fluke Corporation has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in a college or university.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Fluke Scholarship Program must be:
Students outside the United States must be in their final year of upper or higher secondary school or be current technical or university level students.
Students who have received an award under the Fortive Scholarship Program will not be eligible to receive this award.
Applicants will be notified in late June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Fluke Electronics Corporation. The awards will be issued in U.S. Dollars via check payable to the school for the student’s account or electronic transfer to schools that participate in the electronic transfer process. Awards to students outside the U.S. and Canada will be disbursed via wire transfer to the student’s bank account. Payments are sent in one installment in early August.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of both academic and non-academic criteria using a modified Scholarship America recipient selection procedure. Academic achievement is evaluated based on unweighted grade point average and standardized test scores. Non-academic evaluation includes school and community activities, work experience, career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.
Academic evaluation of international applicants will include a review of the grade/mark average based on the grading system used in the applicant’s country and a review of the results of academic examinations.
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Fluke Corporation play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than April 27, 2021 3:00 pm.
Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically through the Scholarship America Student Hub.
