Future of School has established a scholarship program to assist current high school seniors who have completed a minimum of five (5) blended or online courses during their last two years of high school and plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants of Future of School Scholarship Program must:
To be eligible, applicants must have been enrolled in a previously-established online or blended curriculum prior to January 2020, not as a result of distance or hybrid learning due to COVID-19. It important to clarify that this program was not designed to support crisis schooling/remote learning environments.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award from one of the following two categories, dependent upon the type of school and degree the student is planning.

Applicants’ applications and essay responses will be released to Future of School.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Future of School play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in mid- May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Future of School. Payment is made in one installment in early August. Checks are mailed to the student’s home address and are payable to the school.

Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than March 19, 2021 3:00 pm. The recommender should be someone from your high school or college (teacher, counselor, administrator, etc).
