PNC Bank, N.A. as Trustee of the Charles C. & Margaret M. Fritts Scholarship Fund, has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors or graduates of Titusville Senior High School who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the Charles C. & Margaret M. Fritts Scholarship Fund must:

  • Be a high school current senior or graduate of Titusville Senior High School.
  • Be attending or plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
  • Demonstrate financial need.

Award Amounts

The authorized distribution for new awards varies based on the Trust Required Minimum Distribution. The selection committee will determine the number of awards and each award amount (estimated 15 awards).

Awards are not renewable; however students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Preference will be given to previous recipients.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Applicants will be notified in June.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.

Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, will be considered. Recipients must demonstrate financial need.

Selection of finalists is made by Scholarship America. The sponsor will select recipients and determine award amounts.
