H.B. Fuller has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
All applications submitted will also be considered for the regional and global awards. If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $1,000 to $6,000 U.S.
Local Awards
Local awards are $1,000 each.
Regional Awards
Four regional awards of up to $2,500 each will be awarded. Award amount is based on actual expenses and cannot exceed expenses for one academic year.
Global Awards
A single award of up to $6,000 will be paid to the top candidate of H.B. Fuller. Award amount is based on actual expenses and cannot exceed expenses for one academic year.
Eligible expenses include tuition, fees, books, transportation (other than daily transportation), computers and housing if the student lives away from home.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Students may receive a global or regional award only one time during their academic career.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of H.B. Fuller play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Applicants will be notified of their award status by email in early June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Recipients of the local award will receive their payment made payable to their school, typically by mid-July. Recipients of regional or global awards must submit documentation showing actual eligible expenses in order to receive the award payment. Awards are wired to all international scholarship recipients in September, provided required documentation has been received.
