Garmin International, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist dependents of U.S. based associates who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Awards are not renewable. Past recipients may reapply.
Awards are for undergraduate study only and can be used for any education-related expense.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience and a statement of goals and aspirations.
Applicants must submit an essay response to the following question: “The foundation of Garmin’s culture consists of honesty, integrity, and respect for others. What are some values that you live by, and why are they important to you?”
Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Garmin International, Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in mid-June.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Garmin International, Inc. Payment is made in early August.
