Welcome to the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program application. This program honors America’s foremost young leaders who demonstrate the leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship exhibited by President Ronald Reagan. This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team and the program sponsor.
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholar candidates must:
Ineligible candidates include employees of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) who administer the Ronald Reagan Library, General Electric, and Scholarship America and their immediate families, as well as members of the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program advisory committee and their immediate families, commercial customers of and suppliers to the General Electric Company and their immediate families, and employees of any affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute and the General Electric Company and their immediate families.
Numerous awards of $10,000 each will be granted. Based on continued eligibility, awards are renewable and may be used over a period of six consecutive years from the initial award date for a total award of $40,000.
Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, required supplies, and on-campus room and board.
If you are selected as a semifinalist you will be instructed on submitting additional, required materials.
If you are selected as a finalist, you will be asked to participate in a video interview. Recipients will be notified by April 30, 2024.
No application feedback will be given.
GE and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute reserve the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time, including termination of the program.
No supporting documentation is required at this time.
If you are selected as a semifinalist, you will receive further instructions for supplying supporting documentation to verify information in your application, including your transcript and your parents’ tax form.
Semifinalists also will be required to provide a recommendation from a community leader, such as a high school principal, elected official or executive director of a nonprofit organization.
Do not mail any documents to GE, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute or Scholarship America. Materials submitted in this way will not be considered and will be discarded.
