The Graymont Global Scholarship Program assists children of employees who plan to continue their education in college, university, or vocational-technical schools.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, national origin or any other categories prohibited by law.
Applicants to the Graymont Global Scholarship Program must be:
Dependent children of members of Graymont’s Strategic Leadership Team are ineligible.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $1,500 USD award. Up to two (2) awards will be granted each year. Assuming there are qualified applicants, one award will be granted to a student attending a college or university and one award will be granted to a student attending a vocational-technical school.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a vocational-technical degree or bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study and continuation of the program by Graymont.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and a recommendation (a recommender cannot be related to you).
Financial need is not considered.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Graymont. Payment is made via wire transfer upon verification of student enrollment.
