David and Pauline Gregory Trust Fund

The David and Pauline Gregory Trust Fund has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors or high school graduates from the Titusville Area School District, Pennsylvania who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the David and Pauline Gregory Trust Fund must:

  • Be current high school seniors or high school graduates from the Titusville Area School District, Pennsylvania pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees.
  • Demonstrate financial need and exemplary merit and character.
  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Children of PNC Bank employees are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Awards

Up to one award will be granted. The award is not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in June.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the David and Pauline Gregory Trust Fund. Payment is made in mid-August.

Selection of Recipients

Awards shall be made upon the basis of financial need and merit.

Scholarship America will select finalists and a David and Pauline Gregory Trust Fund Scholarship Fund Committee will select recipients and determine award amounts. Awards will be provisional until receipt of final school costs and outside aid.

Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
  • A copy of the parent’s filed Federal 1040 tax form. Parent’s must submit a true and correct signed copy of their Income Tax Form 1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ for 2022. Send the first two pages of the current tax return. If you e-filed, sign and include a copy of your e-return including the signature page. If no tax form will be submitted, send a note explaining the circumstances.
  • A copy of your SAR (Student Aid Report) which is the results of your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The SAR must include the EFC (Expected Family Contribution).
  • Completed financial aid award letter from your selected college.

    NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
