Guthy-Renker Ventures, LLC established this scholarship program to honor and fondly remember the lives of our colleagues, Kim Bruni, Peggy Cambon, Karla Smith, Jill Trinen, and Elaine Vernon, and to memorialize their spirit. The memorial scholarship will assist children of full-time company employees who plan to continue their education in two- or four-year undergraduate or graduate level studies. Scholarships are offered for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Award Amounts
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of $2,500.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Awards are for undergraduate or graduate study.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic information, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Financial need will not be considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or associate of Guthy-Renker Ventures, LLC play a part in the selection. all applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in late March.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the Guthy-Renker Ventures, LLC. Payments are made in one installment in early August.
As part of your application, you must upload the following document(s):A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grade and credit hours, and term in which the course was taken.
