Hasbro is proud to sponsor the Alfred J. Verrecchia scholarship program to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of its employees’ children and to assist them in financing their education. Renewable Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Alfred J. Verrecchia Scholarship Program must:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award. Up to ten (10) awards will be granted.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study, continued employment of the student’s parent at Hasbro, and continuation of the program by Hasbro.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in late-June.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Hasbro. Hasbro, Inc. employees must remain employed. Payments are made in August and December. Employment verification will take place prior to each check being sent to verify continued employment.
