Henkel Corporation has established a scholarship program to students who plan to continue their education in college or university.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.
Applicants to the Henkel Diversity Scholarship Program must:
Henkel employees and children of employees are ineligible.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $5,000 to $20,000.
Award amounts are determined based on the location of the college/university. Recipients attending college/university in Puerto Rico are eligible to receive a $5,000 award, recipients attending college/university in Canada are eligible to receive a $10,000 award, and recipients attending college/university in the U.S. are eligible to receive a $20,000 award. The award payments will be issued in U.S. currency.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study and continuation of the program by Henkel Corporation.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, and a character essay, and unusual personal or family circumstances.
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Henkel Corporation play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
All applicants will be notified in May.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Henkel Corporation. Payments are made in early August.
