Deadline to apply: January 31, 2025 3:00 pm CT

PNC Bank, N.A., as trustee of the John K. Henne Scholarship Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors or graduates of Titusville Area High School who plan to continue their education in college.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the John K. Henne Scholarship Foundation must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be high school seniors or graduates of Titusville Area High School in Titusville, PA.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.

Children of the John K. Henne family, PNC employees or Trust committee members, their immediate family members, and members of their households are not eligible to apply.

Awards

The number of awards will be determined by the Sponsor selection committee and will be based upon the required minimum distribution of the trust.

Awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon the recipient maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and full-time enrollment.

Awards may be used for tuition, related educational fees, and required books only. Room and board is not an eligible expense for this award.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification
All applicants will be notified in late May.

Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of PNC. Payment is made in August.
