Hilton and the Hilton Global Foundation have established a scholarship program to assist Hilton Team Members who plan to continue their education in college at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical institution, CEGEP institution (or equivalent).
*Certification programs must be through an accredited institution. Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term in length and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Hilton Cares Team Member Scholarship Program must:
*Hilton Team Members are defined as Corporate, Owned and Managed, and Franchised employees that work an average of 30 hours per week.

While the hope is to inspire students with an interest and passion for hospitality, Hilton Cares is not limited to hospitality majors.
Hilton Franchise owners are not eligible.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive up to a $5000 award. Up to forty-five {45} awards will be granted.
Award amounts are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and award payments will be issued in USD. Recipients may choose to receive award payments in their local currency when available.
Awards are one-time only.
Awards are for qualified education-related expenses only (tuition, fees, books, and required supplies/equipment). Awards amounts may be adjusted if award exceeds the cost of qualified education-related expenses.

All applicants will be notified in April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Hilton Global Foundation. Payment is made in August.

Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
