Financial need will be considered in determining the amount of the award; however, qualified students demonstrating no financial need are eligible for an honorarium at the minimum level.
Each family, regardless of the number of dependents, will be limited to one scholarship per year.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Hitachi America, Ltd. play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
