Idahoan Foods, LLC has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Idahoan Foods, LLC Scholarship Program must:
The authorized distribution for awards will be up to $25,000. Up to 10 awards of $2,500 each will be granted. If more than 10 qualified applicants apply in a single year, awards will be granted to those who have not previously received an award and any remaining awards will be granted on a ‘first come, first served basis’.
Financial need will not be considered.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Applications are reviewed by Scholarship America and employment eligibility is verified by Idahoan Foods, LLC.
All applicants will be notified in early April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Idahoan Foods, LLC. Awards are made payable to the school on behalf of the student in August and December.
The recipient parent must be employed at the time scholarship payments are made. Awards are taxable to the Idahoan Foods, LLC employee and will be reported for each employee through payroll.
