Aramark Correctional Services, LLC has established a scholarship program to assist children of an incarcerated parent that has completed and graduated from the IN2WORK program.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the IN2(the)FUTURE Scholarship must:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award. Up to 55 awards will be granted.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in June.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Aramark Correctional Services, LLC. Payment is made in early August.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Aramark Correctional Services, LLC play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Award recipients will be given access for a year to WhichWay, a financial literacy tool with interactive financial education modules containing tools and tips that include the following topics:
Participation in Scholarship America’s financial literacy tool, WhichWay is offered to scholarship recipients. Recipients will be invited to register online to participate in financial education activities to help guide a student to financial stability and success.
