"Light the Future" Scholarship Program

Insight Global has established a scholarship program to assist the children/dependents of full-time Insight Global / Monument Employees or Consultants in the U.S. and Canada who plan to attend full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, CEGEP institution, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Applicants to the Insight Global “Light the Future” Scholarship Program must:

  • Be Dependent Children*, age 26 or under, of full-time Insight Global or Monument Employees (collectively the “Company”) or Consultants thereof in the U.S. or Canada who are actively employed and have a minimum of three (3) months of Total Employment** with the Company as of the application deadline date
    *Dependent Children are defined as biological, step, legally adopted or otherwise decided by Executive Leadership children who are living in the employee’s household or who are primarily supported by the employee.** Total Employment can be a consecutive duration or be the combination of multiple contract
    assignments equaling three (3) months or more
  • Be high school seniors or students in their final year of upper or higher secondary school, graduates, CEGEP students, or current technical or college/university undergraduate students planning to enroll in part-time (considered at least 6 credits per term or semester or equivalent) or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, CEGEP institution, university or vocational-technical school (or equivalent) for the entire upcoming academic year
  • Have an annual, household gross income of $100,000 U.S. dollars (USD) or less, or the Canadian dollar (CAD) equivalent, as of the application deadline date

Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $20,000 ($10,000 per semester or term) award. At least ten (10) awards of $20,000 each will be granted. Provided there are qualified applicants, recipients will be selected in proportion to the number of applicants per country. Awards are renewable up to three (3) additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned; whichever occurs first (a maximum of $80,000 per student over four years).

The basis for award renewal is as follows:

  • satisfactory academic performance;
  • full-time and part-time enrollment; and
  • continued household income of $100,000 USD/CAD or below

Notification
Applicants will be notified in February. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Insight Global, LLC. The award payments will be issued in USD for recipients in the U.S. and CAD for recipients in Canada. Payments are made in two installments. One installment in August and one installment in mid-December.

Selection Criteria
The program will use modified SAI finalist selection criteria including consideration of the following:

  • Academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • Statement of career and educational goals and objectives
  • Response to the following short essay: “How do you demonstrate your personal character and values by being a light to others and the world around you?” (1,000-character limit)
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances (if applicable)
  • Online recommendation

SAI will select up to twenty (20) finalists and Sponsor will select at least ten (10) recipients. Assuming there are qualified applicants, finalists will be selected in proportion to the number of applicants per country. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

    NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf by someone not related to you no later than December 4, 2023 3:00 pm Central Time.

Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
