The International Pipe Line & Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) has established a scholarship program to assist children and grandchildren of employees of regular or associate members of IPLOCA who plan to continue their education in college, university, or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an bona fide institution of the student’s choice.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Award Amounts
Up to 20 awards of $4,500 will be granted. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Funds will be distributed in U.S. currency.
Only one child/grandchild of the IPLOCA member can receive the award each year.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, activities and work experience, if applicable, statement of educational and career goals and objectives, and an outside appraisal. Financial need is not considered.
Scholarship America will select finalists and send to IPLOCA to select the award recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Notification
Applicants will be notified by mid-April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of IPLOCA. Payments will be mailed or wired to the student recipients in August.
Revisions
IPLOCA reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.
As part of your application, you must upload a current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course, and term in which each course was taken.
Secondary school credential/diploma/certificate, if earned, and results of examinations, if available, should also be submitted.
Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf.
In addition, English translations must be provided for all non-English documents.
