Live application window: February 3, 2025 through March 18, 2025 3:00 pm CT

The John H. Noll Scholarship assists students who have graduated from high schools in the Fort Wayne, IN metropolitan area.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the John H. Noll Scholarship must be:

  • High school seniors or graduates of public or parochial high schools in the Fort Wayne, IN metropolitan area.
  • Enrolled or planning to enroll in full-time study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, vocational-technical or trade school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Preference will be given to the average student (2.0 to 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.)

PNC employees or Trust committee members, their immediate family members, and members of their households are not eligible to apply.

Awards

Awards will reflect the student’s need of tuition and books and taking into account other scholarships and grants awards. Award amounts may vary year to year for recipients. Awards cannot exceed tuition and books. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale GPA (or its equivalent) in a full-time course of study. Recipients may reapply for graduate school. Graduate degrees are renewable for one year, on the basis of recipients maintaining a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale GPA (or its equivalent.) in a full-time graduate course of study. Some awards may not be renewable and will be noted on the notification. Award amounts may vary year to year for recipients.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
