Application status: Closed

The John H. Noll Scholarship assists students who have graduated from high schools in the Fort Wayne, IN metropolitan area.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the John H. Noll Scholarship must be:

  • High school seniors or graduates of public or parochial high schools in the Fort Wayne, IN metropolitan area.
  • Enrolled or planning to enroll in full-time study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, vocational-technical or trade school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Preference will be given to the average student (2.0 to 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.)

Awards

Awards will reflect the student’s need of tuition and books and taking into account other scholarships and grants awards. Award amounts may vary year to year for recipients. Awards cannot exceed tuition and books. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale GPA (or its equivalent) in a full-time course of study. Recipients may reapply for graduate school.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, and any unusual personal or family circumstances.

Financial need will be considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of PNC Institutional Investments  play a part in the selection.  All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Only recipients will be notified in May.
