UBS Global Wealth Management has established a scholarship program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Joseph J. Grano, Jr. Scholarship Program must be:
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren currently living in the Global Wealth Management Employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee and claimed as dependents of the Global Wealth Management Employee for tax purposes.
**The employee must be employed by UBS Global Wealth Management Entity as of the application deadline date and remain employed by UBS Global Wealth Management Entity as of the program employment verification date.
Applicants will be notified in late June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of UBS Global Wealth Management. Payments are made in one installment in U.S. dollars in mid-August.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of UBS Global Wealth Management in the U.S. or Canada play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than May 23, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
