IFS Coatings, Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist children or grandchildren of domestic employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Kawaja Mason Core Values Scholarship must meet all of the following criteria:

Scholarship America selects finalists on the basis of academic performance, demonstrated leadership, participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, any unusual personal or family circumstances and an online recommendation. An essay will be included on the application but reviewed by the Sponsor only.
Financial need will not be considered.
Once finalists are selected, a committee established by IFS Coatings, Inc. will review finalist applications, and select recipients.
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as finalists or recipients. All applicants agree to accept decisions as final.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,500 award.
Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility
requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate or graduate study.
All applicants will be notified in July.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of IFS Coatings, Inc. Payment is made in August. Checks are made payable to the school and sent directly to the recipient’s home address.
Recipients will be sent a Quick Start Guide via email to register for the WhichWay app. Access to the following modules will be granted for a one-year cycle:

• Paying for College
• Understanding Credit
• Obtaining Credit
• Applying for Financial Aid
• Managing Credit Cards
• Managing Student Loans While in School
• Managing Debt
