The Bill Keena Honorary Scholarship Program

Rush Street Gaming, LLC has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the The Bill Keena Honorary Scholarship Program must:

  • Be full-time employees of Rush Street Gaming, LLC (“RSG”) or full-time employees of any RSG- affiliated company (including, but not limited to Midwest Gaming & Entertainment, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company; Holdings Acquisition Co., L.P., a Delaware limited partnership; SugarHouse HSP Gaming, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership; Capital Region Gaming, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company; and Rivers Portsmouth Gaming, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company) who have a minimum of one (1) year employment with the company as of the application deadline date (collectively referred hereinafter as an “Eligible Employee”)*.
    *Eligible employees must be manager or below.
    OR
  • Be immediate family members (spouses or dependent* children), of an Eligible Employee.
    *Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
    AND
  • Be high school seniors or graduates, current college undergraduates, or graduate level students.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study (immediate family members) or part-time undergraduate or graduate study (employee) at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school or graduate school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $4,000 award. Two (2) awards will be granted.

Assuming there are qualified applicants, one award will be granted to an employee and one award will be granted to a spouse or dependent.

One award per family will be granted.

Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards can be used for any education-related expenses.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in May.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Rush Street Gaming, LLC. Payment is made in August.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America.

In no instance does any officer or employee of Rush Street Gaming, LLC play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
    • Student name
    • School name
    • Grades
    • Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than April 17, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
