Kohler Co. Scholarship Programs
Application status: Closed
The Kohler Co. has established two scholarship programs to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our associates’ children. The purpose of these programs is to encourage high school students to further their education by assisting them in financing educational costs.
- Be a high school senior/final year secondary student.
- Be a dependent child of an active associate in good standing* and regularly scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week at Kohler Co., OR
*An active associate in good standing is currently performing services for, or on behalf of, Kohler Co., or one of its subsidiaries in the U.S. or Canada; or who is on an approved leave of absence at any time during the scholarship application, selection, or renewal process.
- Be an active associate in good standing at Kohler Co. or one of its subsidiaries in the U.S. or Canada.
- Be planning to enroll fall term in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four-year college, or at an accredited two-year college leading to a four-year degree.
- Be enrolled for the entire academic year.
- Be a high school senior/final year secondary student.
- Be a dependent child of an active associate in good standing* who works 20 hours or more at Kohler Co., OR
*An active associate in good standing is currently performing services for, or on behalf of, Kohler Co., or one of its subsidiaries in the U.S. or Canada; or who is on an approved leave of absence at any time during the scholarship application, selection, or renewal process.
- Be an active associate in good standing at Kohler Co. or one of its subsidiaries in the U.S. or Canada.
- Be planning to enroll fall term in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school, certification program or apprenticeship program.
- Be enrolled for the entire academic year.
- Have had significant improvement in high school GPA.
- Have experienced a qualifying obstacle or setback as listed below:
- Disability: You have or overcame a disability that affects your vision, movement or capacity to learn.
- Death: Death of a parent, guardian or sibling.
- Illness: Due to illness or accident, you were not able to attend school for 3 or more consecutive weeks.
- Absent Parent: Due to active military deployment or incarceration, your parent or guardian was not living at home for 3 or more consecutive months.
- Bullying: You are currently experiencing or have overcome acute social, verbal or physical bullying which impaired your ability to function successfully at school.
- Addiction: You or a parent suffers from or has overcome a drug or alcohol addiction.
- Homeless: You are or were homeless.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to the actual or perceived race, religion, national origin, ancestry, disability, age, gender, or sexual orientation of any applicant.
