The University of West Los Angeles, Glendale University College of Law and Pacific Coast University College of Law have established the LA County Committee of Bar Examiners Accredited Law Schools Scholarship to assist students pursuing graduate study at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, Glendale University College of Law or Pacific Coast University College of Law.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the LA County Committee of Bar Examiners Accredited Law Schools Scholarship must be:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award in the amount of $3,000.
Awards are not renewable; however, applicants may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Award is for graduate study at University of West Los Angeles School of Law, Glendale University College of Law, or Pacific Coast University School of Law only.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Financial need is not considered for merit-based awards. However, financial need as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive a need-based award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of University of West Los Angeles School of Law, Glendale University School of Law or Pacific Coast University School of Law play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
