Seattle Foundation offers a wide variety of scholarships for high school seniors and undergraduate/graduate college students. The Lambeth Family Foundation assists students from the state of Washington pursuing degrees in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science/Information Technology, Environmental Studies, Forestry, Economics, or Business.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to The Lambeth Family Foundation Scholarship must:
*Half-time enrollment is defined as 6 credit hours or equivalent
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $3,000 award. Up to eight (8) awards will be granted.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon the recipient maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and continued half-time or fulltime enrollment in an eligible major.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in February.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the Seattle Foundation. Payment is made in early August. Payments are made payable to the school and mailed to the school.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Provided there there are qualified applicants, preference will be given to nontraditional* students returning to college or enrolling for the first time.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of the Seattle Foundation play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than January 22, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
