The Local 52 I.A.T.S.E is pleased to announce the formation of a Scholarship Fund for the benefit of members and their families. It is the goal of this program to help members meet the increasing financial demands of providing a college education for their children. Administration of the Scholarship Fund by Scholarship America®, assures both competent and impartial treatment for all applicants.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Local 52 I.A.T.S.E. Scholarship Fund must be:
Up to four (4) awards of $3,000 each will be granted.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years (four years if the student documents a bonafide five-year undergraduate program) or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance (minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent) in a full-time course of study, and continued parental membership in good standing in Local 52 I.A.T.S.E.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Applicants will be notified in May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship America processes Local 52 I.A.T.S.E. scholarship payments on behalf of Local 52 I.A.T.S.E. Payments are made in one installment in August.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or member of Local 52 I.A.T.S.E. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than April 14, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
