The Lynden Memorial Scholarship Program has been established to assist children, stepchildren and grandchildren of Lynden Family of Companies employees who plan to continue their education in college, graduate, or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Lynden Memorial Scholarship Program must:
*Lynden Family of Companies includes actively-managed, wholly or partially-owned companies of Lynden Incorporated. The qualifying employee must have averaged at least 30 hours per week for at least one year as of the application deadline date and be currently employed by one of the Lynden Family of Companies at the time of award notification to be eligible to receive funding. Employee includes those who were employed at the time of their death, regardless of length of employment.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $3,500 award.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study.
Provided there are qualified applicants, up to one-half of the awards will be granted in the vocational trade.
All applicants will be notified in mid-April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the Lynden Memorial Scholarship Fund. Payment is made in August.

Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Lynden Memorial Scholarship Fund or Lynden Family of Companies play a part in the selection.
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

NOTE: If you are uploading a high school transcript, you must also upload a copy of your SAT or ACT test scores if the test scores are not available on your high school transcript. Neither SAT or ACT test scores are required for Vocational-Technical school applicants.
