PNC Bank, Trustee has established the Anna Marjorie MacRae Scholarship to assist Cass City area high school seniors who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs in nursing or related medical fields. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Anna Marjorie MacRae Scholarship Program must:
Scholarship recipients are selected on the consideration of character, intelligence, desire to pursue higher education, aptitude, scholastic record, essay describing educational goals, an online recommendation form and letter of recommendation.
Financial need is not considered.
Selection of recipients is made by the Anna Marjorie MacRae Scholarship Committee. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award in an amount determined by the Anna Marjorie MacRae Scholarship Committee. Awards may be renewed for up to four additional years. Renewal is contingent upon the recipient maintaining a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent), study in an eligible major and continuation of the program by PNC Bank, Trustee. Renewal award amounts are determined by the Anna Marjorie MacRae Scholarship Committee.
All applicants will be notified in mid-May.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the Anna Marjorie MacRae Scholarship Committee. Payment is made in early August.
