The Mauger Insurance Scholarship has been established to assist students from Southwest Licking School District in Ohio who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Students who have previously received a Mauger Insurance Scholarship and wish to renew will receive an invitation to renew their scholarship in January 2025 and should not complete a new application.
Applicants to the Mauger Insurance Scholarship must:

PNC Employees, children of PNC employees or Trust committee members are ineligible.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award that varies based upon funds available for distribution.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years (for a total of four years) or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is also contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study (maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale) at an accredited two- or four-year college or university or vocational-technical school.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Financial need will be considered. Recipients must demonstrate need. Scholarship America will evaluate all eligible applicants and forward all applicant data to PNC Bank, Trustee. The Trust committee will select recipients.
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
All applicants will be notified by May.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of PNC Bank. Payment is made in August payable to the student’s school.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
