The William J. McMannis and A. Haskell McMannis Educational Trust Fund is being offered to assist students from Pennsylvania attending designated colleges in Pennsylvania with their education. Up to 30 renewable scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 will be granted based on financial need.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Children of PNC Bank, N.A. employees are ineligible.
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $2,000 to $5,000. Awards are renewable for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study and continuation of the program by the William J. McMannis and A. Haskell McMannis Eductaional Trust Fund. Awards may not exceed total cost of tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Applicants will be notified in July. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of The William J. McMannis and A. Haskell McMannis Educational Trust Fund. Payment is made in August.
Awards will be granted based on financial need.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of The William J. McMannis and A. Haskell McMannis Educational Trust Fund play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf by 3:00 p.m.
