Meineke Dealers Association Scholarship Program

Meineke Dealers Association has established a scholarship program to assist members, members’ employees or dependent children of members or members’ employees who plan to continue their education in college.

This program is administered by Scholarship America┬«, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age,┬á gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants of the Meineke Dealers Association Scholarship Program must be:

  • Members or members’ employees of the Meineke Dealers Association as of the application deadline date.

OR

  • Dependent* children, age 24 and under, of members or members’ employees of the Meineke Dealers Association.

*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.

Dependent children must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four- year college, university, or vocational-technical school.

Members or members’ employees must plan to enroll or already be enrolled in a part-time or full-time undergraduate course of study (minimum three credit hours) at an accredited two- or four- year college, university, or vocational-technical school.

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive:

  • A $1,000 award
  • Up to eight (8) awards will be granted.
  • Awards are one-time only; however, non-recipients may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
  • Awards are for undergraduate study only

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • academic record
  • demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • honors
  • work experience
  • statement of goals and aspirations
  • unusual personal or family circumstances
  • an online recommendation

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Meineke Dealers Association play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Meineke Dealers Association. Awards will be paid in one installment in early August.

As part of your application, you must upload the following documents:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken
