This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Applicants to the NAAA Warren Young, Sr. Scholastic Foundation, Inc. program must be:

    • If an employee becomes disabled, retires or dies during the application process their children or grandchildren are still eligible.
    • If an employee transfers from one NAAA Chapter/Corporate Office (CO) to another after an application has been submitted, employee must meet all eligibility requirements at the current Chapter/CO at the time of award notification.

Awards
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of $3,000 or $5,000. Up to twelve (12) awards will be granted.

  • One award for each geographic location of $3,000 will be granted to a vocational-technical student in an auto-related course of study or to a two-year college student. In the event a qualified applicant is not received, a $3,000 award will be granted to a student attending a four-year college.

Awards are not to exceed the cost of tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Awards are for undergraduate study only and are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
