NAG Convenience Craig Neuhoff Memorial Scholarship Program

National Advisory Group has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the NAG Convenience Craig Neuhoff Memorial Scholarship Program must:

  • Be employees or dependent children* of Convenience Stores/Petroleum Marketers’ employees in the retail channel whose company is a member of National Advisory Group (NAG)
    *Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee
  • Plan to enroll in a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school
  • Be applicants who are current students or who have attended school within the past three years must have maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $1,000 award. Up to five (5) awards will be granted.

Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study only.

Awards can be used for any education-related expenses.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in June.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of National Advisory Group. Payment is made in August.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Work experience
  • A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need is not considered. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Required:

  • Due by May 3, 2024 3:00 pm Central Time with application: A current, complete transcript of your grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course, and term in which each course was taken.
  • Due by May 9, 2024 3:00 pm Central Time: One recommendation form completed by someone on your behalf, ideally someone who knows you as a student or as an employee. Your recommender cannot be someone related to you.

Optional:

  • ACT/SAT Scores (please upload separately from your transcripts if you opt to include).
