Neptune Technology Group Scholarship Program

Neptune Technology Group Inc. has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college programs. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the Neptune Technology Group Scholarship Program must be:

  • Dependent children*, age 25 and under, of full-time Neptune Technology Group Inc. U.S.A. employees who have a minimum of one (1) year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date.*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or stepchildren living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study for the entire upcoming academic year at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States that will lead to an academic degree, technical degree, or technical certification.

Award Information:

  • If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award.
  • Up to five (5) awards will be granted each year.
  • Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a technical/vocational certificate or bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first.
  • Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance (Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale) in a full-time course of study, continued employment of the student’s parent at Neptune Technology Group Inc., and continuation of the program by Neptune Technology Group Inc.

Awards are for undergraduate study only, and may be used to pay for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Notification

Applicants will be notified by Scholarship America in May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Neptune Technology Group Inc. Payments are made in equal installments in early July and early November.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Academic record
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Honors
  • Work experience
  • Statement of career and educational goals and objectives
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • An online recommendation

Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Neptune Technology Group Inc. play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

As part of your application, you must upload the following document:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

Also as part of your application, one online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf by 3:00 p.m.
Central Time on April 23, 2020.
