Nestlé Professional Scholarship Program
Application status: Closed

Nestlé Professional is proud to sponsor a scholarship program to assist children of active employees of Nestlé Professional to pursue higher education. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at any accredited institution of the student’s choice.

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.

Information provided in response to the gender and ethnicity questions on the profile page is voluntary. That information is for statistics reporting only and will not be shared with the selection committee.

Applicants to the Nestlé Professional Scholarship Program must:

  • Dependent* children of active, full-time or permanent part-time employees of Nestlé Professional who have a minimum of one year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date. Years of uninterrupted service with a business purchased by Nestlé count toward meeting this requirement.
*Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children, stepchildren, or legal wards living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.
  • High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Applicants can receive only one scholarship from Nestlé during any one school year. Nestlé scholarship recipients may accept additional scholarships from other sources.

Children of company officers at the Vice President level and above may not apply.

The Nestlé Professional Scholarship is only for dependent children of active Nestlé Professional employees.

If employee works for Nestlé USA, Nestlé Nutrition, Nestlé Health & Science, Nestlé Waters North America, or L.J. Minor, please do not complete this application. These operating companies have their own scholarship program. Please contact the appropriate HR representative for information on their scholarship program.

If employee works for Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, Nespresso, or Nestlé IT, please note these operating companies currently do not have a scholarship program at this time.

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,100 award.

Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years provided that recipients maintain a course load of at least 12 credits per academic period and a grade point average each term of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Renewal award amounts may also vary annually.

Awards are for undergraduate study only. Courses taken after attainment of a bachelor’s degree do not qualify even if related to a second undergraduate degree or curriculum.

All applicants will be notified in late May.
