Andrew D Peykoff, Sr. Scholarship Program

Niagara Bottling, LLC has established The Andrew D. Peykoff, Sr. Scholarship Program to assist employees’ children who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school
programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.

Applicants to theĀ Andrew D Peykoff, Sr. Scholarship Program must be:

  • Be dependent* children, age 25 and under, of at least one full time employee of Niagara Bottling, LLC provided that such employee has a minimum of one (1) year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
  • Be high school seniors or graduates or current postsecondary undergraduate level students.
  • Plan to enroll in a full time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two year or four year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2020-2021 academic year.

*Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee.

*Children of executive-level employees are ineligible to apply.

$5,000 annual award or $20,000 maximum award for those who demonstrate financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America.

$2,500 annual award or $10,000 maximum award for those who do not demonstrate financial need, but are still deserving of an award.

Awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first.

If the recipient’s schooling extends beyond four years, the student may apply to the program again as a new applicant provided they meet eligibility requirements.

Renewal of awards each year is contingent upon the recipient’s satisfactory academic performance in a full-time undergraduate course of study, continued employment of the student’s parent at Niagara Bottling, LLC and continuation of the program by Niagara Bottling, LLC.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Notification

Applicants will be notified in April.Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Non-recipients will be notified as well.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Niagara Bottling, LLC. Payments are made in equal installments in early August and mid-December.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

  • Consideration of academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
  • Honors
  • Work experience
  • Statement of careers and educational goals and objectives
  • Unusual Circumstances or family circumstances
  • Outside appraisal

Financial need will be considered.

Revisions
Niagara Bottling, LLC reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.

 

 

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

  • A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display the student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course, as well as the term in which each course was taken.
  • One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf.

Your application is not complete unless all required documents are submitted electronically.
