Novozymes Region North America
Scholarship Program
Application status: Closed

Novozymes North America, Inc., has established a scholarship program to assist children of Novozymes employees (Zymers) in North America who plan to continue their education in college.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance, and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the Novozymes Region North America Scholarship Program must be:

  • Dependent* children of active, full-time employees of Novozymes affiliates in Region North America who have a minimum of one year’s employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
*A dependent child is defined as a son, daughter, stepchild, legally adopted child or legal ward primarily supported by the employee/guardian.
  • High school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the U.S. or Canada no later than fall 2022.

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $1,500 award. Up to 13 awards will be granted.

Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Novozymes play a part in the selection.

Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.  All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

All applicants will be notified in May.
