Northwest Pipe Company has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Northwest Pipe Company Scholarship Program must be:
Officers and executive level employees (those in pay grades EX-3 and higher) are ineligible.
Up to 10 awards will be granted as follows:
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Applicants will be notified in late June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.
Financial need will not be considered.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Northwest Pipe Company play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Payments are made in equal installments in early August and mid December. Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Northwest Pipe Company.
