Award amounts will be determined based on the cost of attendance as determined by each recipient’s college or university plus stipends for books, and supplies. Recipients must submit their cost of attendance before each academic year. If recipients have changes to their enrollment mid-year, their award amount may be adjusted.

Awards are renewable up to five years or until a PhD is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of satisfactory academic performance and continued full-time enrollment in an eligible program at an eligible university.

Awards are for PhD study only.

Recipients may be offered a living stipend through NTT Research Inc. Sponsor will manage the entire stipend process, including disbursement and tax liability, and reporting.
