Nicole V. Reed Memorial Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist New Jersey residents who plan to pursue a culinary arts degree.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Nicole V. Reed Memorial Foundation Culinary Award must:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to one award will be granted. Awards are one-time only. Past recipients may not reapply.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Scholarship finalists are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Financial need is not considered.
SAI will select 5 finalists and Sponsor will select recipient. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
All applicants will be notified in April.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of the Nicole V. Reed Memorial Foundation. Payment is made in August.
