Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship Program

Program Information

The Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship is available to Osage students who have successfully submitted the Annual Qualifying Application for the 2023-2024 academic year and are pursuing post-secondary education at the associate level or beyond. A wide range of educational choices is supported, including associates, bachelors, masters, and doctoral degree programs at accredited schools. Students must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of a 2.0 each term and be in good standing to remain eligible for scholarship funding. Students may not receive the Career Training Scholarship and Higher Education Scholarship simultaneously.

Payment Request Deadlines

Eligible students may submit a Payment Request. The application period for each term during the 2023-2024 academic year is as follows:

  • Fall term 2023: July 14, 2023-September 29, 2023
  • Winter quarter/Spring semester 2024: October 13, 2023-February 1, 2024
  • Spring quarter 2024 (quarter schools only): February 15, 2024-April 15, 2024
  • Summer term 2024: May 1, 2024-June 14, 2024

The deadline to submit the Payment Request Application each term is 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

Required Documents

Students are responsible for electronically uploading the following required supporting documents with the payment request application on the Scholarship America Hub. If a required document will not be available by the payment request deadline, students should upload a note in place of the document indicating the reason the document is not available and the date it will be available. When documents become available, students will be able to log into the Scholarship America Hub and upload additional documents to the Documents section of your Hub account.

  1. A current, complete transcript of grades. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student’s full name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken. The transcript should include grades for all courses previously funded through the Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship, and display the term and cumulative GPAs.
  2. A copy of your class schedule for the term for which you are requesting payment. The schedule must display your full name, the school name, and the courses and credit hours of enrollment for the term.
  3. (High school students only) A completed Financial Aid Package Form or statement showing the actual incurred cost of tuition, fees, and books for the term. Click here to access a copy of the Financial Aid Package Form.

Updating Submitted Information

If students need to update their address or individuals or organizations listed on their Records Release after the application has been submitted for a term, please submit your changes to Scholarship America using one of the forms below:
