OSI Group Scholarship Program

Applicants to the OSI Group Scholarship Program must be:

Children of active, regular, full-time employees of a participating OSI Group Company who have a minimum of one (1) year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
High school seniors or graduates or current college undergraduates
Planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

Academic performance
Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
Work experience
Statement of educational and career goals and objectives
Unusual personal or family circumstances
An online recommendation.

Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of OSI Group, LLC play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Notification

All applicants will be notified in June.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of OSI Group, LLC. Payment is made in early August.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $1,500 award. If enough qualified applicants apply, one award is to be given to each of the following locations:

OSI – Major, Chicago, Illinois
OSI – Morristown, Indiana
OSI – Oakland, Iowa
OSI – Racine, Chicago, Illinois
OSI – Riverside, California
OSI – Tipton, Indiana
OSI – West Chicago, Illinois
OSI – West Jordan, Utah

If no qualified applications are received from a location, an “at-large” award will be granted to the next highest qualified applicant from the pool of applicants, regardless of parent work location.

Awards are one-time only. Past recipients may not reapply.

As part of your application, you must upload the following:

A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:

Student name
School name
Grades
Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than April 22, 2025 3:00 pm Central Time.
