The Oxford Club has established a scholarship program to assist dependent children or grandchildren of Oxford Club Members and community members who plan to continue their education at accredited two- or four-year colleges, universities or vocational-technical schools in the United States.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to The Oxford Club Scholarship Program must be:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to 2 awards will be granted.
Awards are one-time only. Past recipients may not apply.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, financial literacy essay, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America and The Oxford Club. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
Applicants will be notified in February. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of The Oxford Club. Payments are made in August.
