The Pat Hatmaker Memorial Scholarship Program has been established to assist high school seniors graduating from Issaquah High School in Washington state who plan to continue their education in college.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the Pat Hatmaker Memorial Scholarship Program must:
The number of recipients and award amounts are dependent upon funds available for distribution. If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $1,000 to $2,000.
Awards are for qualified education-related expenses only (tuition, fees, books, and required supplies/equipment.) If a recipient’s award amount exceeds the cost of qualified education-related expenses, the award amount may be adjusted.
Awards are for undergraduate study only and one-time. Past recipients cannot reapply.
All applicants will be notified in March.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of The Pat Hatmaker Memorial Scholarship Fund. Payment is made in August.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Financial need, as calculated by Scholarship America, must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of The Pat Hatmaker Memorial Scholarship Fund play a part in the selection.
Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

One online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than January 25, 2024 3:00 pm Central Time.
