Pershing has established a scholarship program to assist Pershing School to Work Scholarship Program participants who plan to continue their education in college or vocational-technical school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Pershing School to Work Scholarship Program must:
One (1) award of $2,500 will be granted to the selected recipient. The award may be renewed* for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, for a total award of up to $10,000. If there are no participants of the Pershing School to Work Scholarship Program, no new award recipients will be selected.
*Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time undergraduate course of study, and continuation of the program by Pershing LLC.
The award is for undergraduate study only.
All applicants will be notified in June.
Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Pershing LLC. Payment is made in early August.
The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of:
Financial need will be considered. Recipients must demonstrate need of $5,000 or greater.
Preference will be given to applicants pursuing a degree in a field relative to business, management, finance/accounting, or technology, provided qualified applicants are received.
Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of Pershing LLC play a part in the selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
