Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation has established a scholarship program to assist employees, or children of employees, who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this scholarship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.
Applicants to the Pilgrim’s Tomorrow Fund must be:
*Dependent children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children living in the employee’s household or primarily supported by the employee OR children who qualify as federal tax exemptions to the employee

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award amount intended to cover their entire cost of attendance (COA.) COA includes tuition, fees, books, supplies, room and board and a one-time stipend for a laptop.
Up to 32 awards will be granted. Assuming there are qualified applicants, one award will be granted to each of Pilgrim’s 31 geographic locations. If there are not qualified applicants in any location, the award may be allocated to another geographic location.
Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and continuing to meet the employment/parental employment requirement. Award amounts will be calculated annually.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Recipients may be offered a summer internship from Pilgrim’s, but it is not required.
